Our most beloved current trend: BELTS!

Want a great way to update your current wardrobe without laying down too much bank? Be a Savvy-Chic Recessionista and invest in a few new belts from periwinkle! Adding a new belt to an outfit or changing an old belt out for a new one can totally change the look of an outfit while instantly modernizing it. Belts have been "in" for two seasons now, and show no signs of slowing down! Check out a few examples below of how simply throwing on a belt can be an easy way to refresh just about any outfit...

These brightly-colored patent Sandy Duftler belts, $68, add a funky, spring-colored touch to these two more conservative outfits above.

By adding a Lee Erikson silk sash, $38, or Streets Ahead Collection Patent Belt, $88, this Sine dress (above) has a much more defined waist with an interesting element added in. The Lee Erikson sashes come in gold, royal blue, pink, purple and red. The Streets Ahead belt comes in white, yellow, red and black.
